Live Performances
Hillary-Marie’s live performance are percussive dance at its finest – music for the soul created by the soles of the feet - giving a visual to the rhythm we hear and a voice to the dance that we see by approaching tap dance as a musical instrument and visual performance art with live music collaborations and a strong improvisational presence to culminate in the ultimate form of storytelling.

She regularly performs as a featured guest artist with live Jazz bands, in addition to her own original group and solo productions.
In The Pocket
In the Pocket transforms the void of silence into a world brimming with music and movement. Hillary-Marie, playing the role of a Trickster with a secret in her pocket, indelibly weaves together the languages of music and dance as she harnesses the powerful pulse of rhythmic performance with Tap Dance, Body Percussion, and other surprises along the way. Will her tricks catch you, or, will you catch her tricks?

This is an acapella Tap Dance solo performance appropriate for large and small concert venues.

UNplugged
Disconnected from electronics, disengaged from normal activities, temporarily withdrawn from the responsibilities and obligations of everyday life, in a low-key and intimate context.

UNPLUGGED, featuring Hillary-Marie and one pianist, an improvised and intimate performance in which the audience is taken on an interactive journey by an origami chinese fortune teller.

Every show is different. No show is ever the same. Perfect for intimate venues, such as house concerts and art galleries.

Herspective
​After rediscovering each other as dedicated artists since meeting in middle school, Hillary-Marie and Ami Madeleine have been teaming up to bring audiences an authentic and unique musical experience. Hillary-Marie, an accomplished tap dance artist and storyteller, engages her audience with enthusiasm and impeccable rhythm alongside Ami Madeleine, a multi-instrumentalist, community organizer, and collage artist, who lulls them into a sweet dream of heartfelt melody. On their own they’re inspirational. Together, sensational. Hillary-Marie and Ami Madeleine invite you to leave your worries behind, tap your feet, and rediscover the creative joy in you. ​

VIBE
With the Law of Vibration telling us that everything is energy, it’s safe to say that music, dance, emotions and atmosphere manifest a universal energy that can be absorbed and felt by all those who surround us. VIBE is a celebration of music and Tap dance as a universal energy and language of the world as dancers and musicians flow in and out of choreography and improvisation with the inventiveness and spontaneity that can be attained with being present and mindful of the vibrations that surround us. Featuring up to four tap dancers and four musicians, VIBE exposes the true nature of percussive dance as a form of storytelling packed with texture, movement, sound and the familiar roller coaster ride of life’s erowmotions.
